From our close collaboration with the marketing department of Bodegas Martín Códax comes the ‘functional wine pack’ as a support for two white wines, the Albariño Marieta and the Godello Mara Martín.

The challenges presented by our client in the briefing to develop the packaging focused on preventing the bottles from hitting the ice bucket (intended as a gift) and keeping them in place. At the same time, they wanted to reinforce the handle and its functionality to make it easier for the end customer to transport the product.

The two wines for which this support has been designed are presented in a pack consisting of an ice bucket in the form of a traditional metal bucket containing two bottles of wine.

Our winning design is a microflute die-cut cardboard sleeve that covers and supports the ice bucket and the bottles. The graphic design, provided by our client’s marketing department, complements the one included on the labels, making it an eye-catching package that stands out at the point of sale.

It is a sustainable, functional and convenient packaging for the food channel and specialised gourmet shops.
